The Salvation Poem was conceived, written and developed by entrepreneur and Autumn Records recording artists Matt and Sherry McPherson.

With a passion for evangelism, Matt and Sherry’s inspiration was to find a simple and effective way to lead people into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Matt says, “Most of us learn poems when we are small children that we never forget. Mary had a little … Lamb. Twinkle, twinkle little … Star. If someone were to offer you a million dollars to try to forget these, you couldn’t. What if we taught people a poem that could lead them to Christ and in turn help them to lead others to Jesus Christ as well? What if we utilized rhyme and music to make it even easier to remember?”

These thoughts turned into reality and the Salvation Poem was born.

During the past three years there have been a number of projects developed and produced utilizing the Salvation Poem. One of those being pens that are now being distributed through missions organizations all over the world.

Most recently, The Salvation Poem gift cards have been developed. These have just begun to be distributed and have been very well received. The number of ministries and organizations who are utilizing them are growing by the day.

There are many layers to some of these projects and they continue to branch off into new directions and grow new ideas and opportunities.

Presently, the Salvation Poem has been translated into over 15 languages. It is being printed and distributed all over the world through different groups and organizations. One organization alone is printing The Salvation Poem on more than 30 million books, booklets and pieces of literature.

The list is growing daily of different ways it is being utilized. Through this website and The Salvation Poem Projects, it is our desire to bring as many people as possible into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
